Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was a member and the captain for the 2012 Fierce Five as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. At the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals in floor and team competitions, as well as a bronze medal on the balance beam. She was an elite American to have won the most Olympic medals. In the 2016 Olympics she won a gold medal for the team event, which gave her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been one of the very first Americans to take home back-to-back team golds. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around competition and floor exercise. In the three years between the two Olympics, she was off. Additionally, she was an athlete on two gold medal winning American team in gymnastics. She began learning gymnastics in the age of 2 and she has a favorite activity flooring exercise. Aly is a supporter of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who died of cancer. She wants to have a prosperous career in the fashion industry. The leotards she wears as a signature, socks and other items will be expanded on in the near future. Fierce, a new book she's working on, will release later in the year.
